A model of a Dutch Windmill built by Ken McDonald based on 1937 manual, Outfit 9 model 9.1 with some modifications. In addition to some aesthetic adjustments the main changes are the introduction of a Ball Thrust Bearing below the upper structure to enable it to adjust to the wind direction and powered by a low voltage motor. Boat Launching Gear built by Ken McDonald. A 1919 Manual Model number 416. Not having a sufficient number of nickel parts I built it with pre-war dark red and green and made some alterations to improve the structure of the weighted arms and to make the gears driving them work properly. And not having a suitable boat I made one in zinc as a contrast. (12/02/2021)
